The kaleidoscope of life is turvy.
A merest nudge or jostle
Reveals bright new spectrums
Of colors, shapes and patterns
As we hold it to the sunlight
And contemplate its wonders.
That lights the tumbling days with color.
Radiant, splendid
sun, now clouded,
No more sparks the crystals of my days,
Leaving only poignant memories,
Resurrecting joyful days he shone.

Now free of earthly tether,
Hastening ever to the sun.
Goodbye and Godspeed onward,
Brief mortal sojourn done.
